Practical Guide which includes useful local information
As part of ISASI 2015, Airbus Helicopters are kindly offering a tour of their manufacturing plant which is situated close to Augsburg. The tour for a maximum of 40 persons (split into groups of 10) will include an insight into the final assembly of EC135 helicopters, the Military Support Center and manufacturing of Airbus doors. Transport will leave from the Kongress Centre on Friday 28 August at 0900 hrs and should return back to the Centre by 1330. The cost will be 20E. If you are interested in this tour, please let the staff know when you register in the Kongress Centre; places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Meetings and working groups
ISASI National Society and Chapter meetings will take place Tuesday afternoon and Working Groups will meet on Wednesday.
Situated 50 miles to the north-west of Munich, Augsburg is the third-largest city in Bavaria. With a population in excess of 280,000 citizens it is Germany's third oldest city, originally founded by the Romans in 15 BC. It is the capital of the county ‘Schwaben’ and close to many high profile aviation companies.

The nearest international airport is Munich Airport (MUC) with good shuttle bus and rail connections to Augsburg. Fast rail connections also exist from Frankfurt and Stuttgart airports.
